Staying at this place was the best decision during my trip to Japan. I was exhausted, going through a divorce, but the staff was incredibly honest, helpful and caring, so I was crying at the complimentary taxi when I had to leave. Amazing service—wish to come back one day. I wish all the best to this hotel and everyone who works there.

The room was clean, spacious, and the on‑site hot spring was fantastic; the paid massage service was outstanding and the sea view from the room was beautiful. I’d love to return next year and try the drink bar then. The only plus was that the hotel’s meals were inexpensive, which I liked.

It was an absolutely lovely place to stay with truly spacious rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful, almost anticipating our wishes, and we were treated like the most valuable guests, which was a unique experience. Please note that the hotel is a bit on the far side of Tanabe, so if you’re not into walking this may be an issue. It wasn’t for us, as we came for hikes and walks, so it was just great. Also we weren’t sure if it was off season, but it looked like we were the only guests in the whole building. Nothing negative.

The view from the window was lovely, and each room came with an air purifier, making the stay comfortable. Arriving by car was convenient, and the nearby convenience store added to the overall ease of the visit.
