The Days Inn Kendal - Killington Lake is situated beside Killington Lake, off the M6. Scenic Lakeland views are offered in many rooms, complemented by free Wi-Fi and parking. Amenities include a 22-inch TV, coffee maker, and lounge chair in each room. McDonald's and Costa Coffee are available in the Main Amenities Building. The hotel is 10 minutes from Kendal and 30 minutes from Lake Windermere.

The staff were extremely helpful and the location is great, but the room felt dated and needed a makeover. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows. The £15 extra charge per night for each dog seemed steep, almost doubling our total cost, especially since we stayed at another Days Inn on our way to Scotland that had been modernised and didn't charge extra for dogs.

The location was convenient. However, the room was nothing like the photos; it was filthy with mold and mildew on walls, corners, doors, ceilings, and door frames. The issue has been ongoing because they painted over it and it’s still visible and spreading. Water damage affected the wood and light fixtures, the walls were dirty, and the furniture was falling apart. If I’d seen these photos, I wouldn’t have booked. With children, I would have left instead. We all woke up with respiratory problems.

The family room was comfortable, with a separate area for our daughters to sleep, and the receptionist was friendly. We enjoyed the lovely lake view, and the location was convenient for a stopover on our way to Scotland. The room was clean and basic, but the bed was comfortable, warm, and the overall value for money was very good. The travel cot was provided as requested.

Location was good,and the staff very helpful. Toilet didn't work,light switches where dangerous. Even though the reviews stated good breakfast was available it was only a McDonald's meal,I have never been to a hotel where you could ONLY get McDonald's food,wouldn't stay there again
