The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Xiamen International Airport and 10 minutes from Nanputuo Temple and Gulangyu Ferry Pier, with a recreation complex including an outdoor pool and fitness center.

Overall, it was a lovely hotel, but the bathroom was old and the shower head didn’t stay in its holder, always twisting to one side.

The location worked well for us working in Xiamen, but there were no USB charging points in the room and the rooms feel dated now.

The place has a great location, a very quiet area, and sits just across the lake. The breakfast buffet is decent, and the hotel is well maintained. Some parts of the room were already showing wear, yet it’s still a good place to stay.
