“Great place, value for money.”

The host was very accommodating and didn't mind my inconvenience of going out and coming back very late, actually after midnight. The room was comfortable, and all facilities were as described. There was no parking at the property, but they've got plenty of spaces on the road and streets less than 1 minute walk nearby

There wasn’t even a room available, so the landlord put me in a room full of his stuff and then told me to leave, leaving me on the street.

“Really bad”

I had a terrible experience with the host's attitude; nothing else stood out.

“Nooit naar toe gaan.”

Het was de kamer waar normaal de host zelf slaapt. Ik heb mijn twijfels of de lakens wel verschoond waren, en heb in mijn eigen lakenzak van de slaapzak geslapen. Bij mijn vertrek om 7.30 moest de host met veel openlijke tegenzin opstaan van zijn luchtbed in de kamer om de deur van het slot te doen

“Unpleasant and I would not recommend staying there”

Faringdon is a lovely place to stay, but the host was unhelpful and inhospitable; I fell while carrying luggage upstairs and he ignored me, offering no assistance. The shared bathroom with the host was not clean enough. Breakfast was offered reluctantly and was poor, so I declined it the second morning. When leaving, the host was again unhelpful; I had to make two trips to my car with luggage, and he challenged me about leaving with his house keys, forcing me to explain that I was returning to pick up another bag left in the lounge by the front door.
