Hotel Ricci, a family‑run boutique property, sits five minutes from Genova Brignole Station and a short walk to the historic city center. Air‑conditioned rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, free Wi‑Fi, and private bathrooms with hairdryers and toiletries. Guests enjoy a daily buffet breakfast, a bar, and luggage storage. Nearby, Santo Stefano Church, Genova Cathedral, the aquarium, and the harbor are all within ten minutes.

The location was perfect whether arriving by car or train. I would have preferred a view of the piazza, but I appreciated the courtesy of being moved to a quieter interior room.

The location was perfect because we chose it for its proximity to the station, but it turned out to be a very pleasant area with many bars, cafés, and restaurants, plus a large market and several convenience stores around the corner. The host was very welcoming, and the atmosphere in the reception/ breakfast room was warm. Breakfast was very good, with a real coffee machine and a good selection. It was an unusually pleasant hotel experience. We received restaurant recommendations, a city map, and a thick tourist brochure with information about the city. We had a room on the back side, which was very quiet. The interior was old and unattractive, but that didn’t matter. The bathroom was small, but it worked well.
