There was an issue with the booking. Hotel Winter Resorts said they had not received the booking and were blaming the problem.

“Great location and view let down by poor maintenance and customer service”

The location is great, the grounds look tidy, and the restaurant food was tasty and plentiful. However, when we first arrived our room was dirty with stains, crayon marks, and even a shoe print on the wall. The bed linen and towels were off‑white and worn from repeated washing. We were moved to another room the next day, which was better but still had stained linen and worn towels. Both rooms seemed poorly maintained, making the wear and tear obvious and detracting from our enjoyment. Check‑in was vague; we had to ask for the Wi‑Fi code and weren’t told how to choose our evening meal, which caused a one‑hour wait on two nights. The staff seemed casual and reactive throughout. When I raised my concerns, management acknowledged the need for better cleanliness, maintenance, check‑in procedures, and customer service. I’ve seen other guests mention similar issues, so it’s up to Winternote management to act on these good intentions.

Le confort. LA PROPRETÉ. Le service. L'amabilité du personnel. La piscine. Le jardin. En partie la vue de notre chambre. Lit trop mou. Bruit de moteur depuis le balcon. Un chien enfermé dans une cage par les voisins et qui aboie misérablement. Emplacement : un peu loin du centre, on est donc dépendant des rickshaws. Pas grande choses à faire autour

The resort in Monar is the best I’ve seen, its view is gorgeous and the breakfast is both tasty and varied, so I highly recommend you give it a try – it truly lives up to the hype and everything you need is close by.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very spacious and very clean. Very comfortable bed. Nice view from the balcony. Really nice food in the restaurant, room service and really nice swimming pool
