La posizione. Nella foresta. Camaleonti, scimmie, e natura viva e vera per strada. La famiglia fantastica. Il giovane host, la madre e la sua cena e pure la colazione. Il padre e al sorellina. Anche il progetto iniziale della struttura mi è piaciuto. Ma. Lo stato della struttura. Il bagno, la cucina condivisa. In generale lo stato delle parti comuni

You feel like part of the family and get a more authentic taste of Sri Lankan life. Diwa is friendly and will drive you everywhere; remember to tip for this service. The family is super cozy. Breakfast was good every day! I loved the outdoor shower and the dog Rubi who sometimes greets you. We hung out outside the hostel and I learned Carrom. Just ask for help and they’ll sort it out! P.S. also check the restaurant along the road that their cousin runs; it’s amazing!

The staff, especially Diwa and his parents, are the highlight of this place. Diwa is the most fun and genuinely kind person you’ll meet, and his parents have a depth that captivates. The location is close to everything, and Diwa, the owner, offers a tuk‑tuk for free to take you wherever you need. If you’re reading this, don’t hesitate, and send a big hug to the owners from me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ More than just a place to stay — an unforgettable experience! This guesthouse feels like family. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and helpful, but Diwa really made it special. He goes above and beyond, even taking us to a hidden sunset spot we’d never find on our own, and he did it for free! That kind of real hospitality is rare. The location is great, especially if you want to visit Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock. It’s a solid base for exploring without spending too much on transport. The family’s kindness, Diwa’s generosity, and the genuine care they show guests make this place stand out. If you’re heading to Sigiriya, especially as a backpacker, stay here. You’ll leave with great memories and a deeper appreciation for Sri Lankan hospitality. HAKUNA MATATA!
