The host’s mother met me at the property and helped as much as the language barrier allowed. Finding the place was a challenge even for the local who drove me there; it’s easy once you know it, but if you’re new to town it’s tricky.

The breakfast was excellent, made by the very kind Mrs. Dina. The central location and my room overlooking Neapolis Park were spectacular, and it’s only a ten‑minute drive from Ortigia. The cleaning could use improvement.

The spacious room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are all good. However, there were spots that could have been cleaned better—dust on the bedroom mirror, coffee stains on the kitchen tiles. The lady who prepared breakfast had white sweat spots on her back at 08:00, which wasn’t very fresh to look at.

Free parking in front of the house, and the accommodation is right next to the Archology Park. It’s a busy spot, a block building on the fourth floor, and a bit noisy at night. Ortigia is about 2.2 km away and reachable by bus.
