Spencer House is a delightful place to spend a night—or more—in Erie, PA. The mansion is full of history and beauty everywhere you look. We arrived in late January on a road trip from New York to Indiana, and it was a perfect treat to end our journey. Steve and Lisa are wonderful hosts, guiding us through a historical tour that explained how the place came to be, providing comfy accommodations, and serving an amazing breakfast the next day. I can’t recommend Spencer House enough! I can’t think of anything!

The room was charming and spotless, and the owners were welcoming, taking time to explain the house’s history; we also enjoyed the breakfast.
