The location is fantastic, the room was beautifully decorated with many thoughtful amenities and kept clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the bar looked great. The bathroom door could be replaced because the shower spray hits it directly, causing paint to chip and the door to warp, making it look a bit untidy compared to the rest of the room. There was also fairly loud music from the bar each night, sometimes audible in the morning, sounding like EDM, which felt out of place for the French Riviera setting. Our room was directly below the restaurant, so we could occasionally hear chairs being moved above us, which could be quite loud. These were minor issues, and everything else was great.

The spot is unbeatable, and the staff are fantastic, while the cleaning crew does a stellar job. The building feels old, so you’ll hear people walking and hear the door slam, and the elevator can be slow during rush hours. Room service drops off during the summer, so that could use a boost.
