The service was excellent, the breakfast great, and the operators were very friendly, competent, and helpful; it’s a family-run place that feels very cozy and welcoming, though the rooms are a bit dated, which actually adds to the charming comfort.

The location was perfect and the breakfast good; the mother and daughter, Wolf, were simply wonderful with a lot of heart, and I’m grateful for the hidden gem that is Pension Adler, though it’s a bit low for older or health‑restricted guests.

The place was very clean and the location in the center of Sonthofen was good. However, the welcome was not friendly; the hostess clearly had no enthusiasm. The breakfast was mediocre, consisting only of supermarket products with no regional specialties. There was no parking at the pension, and the parking garage was a 5‑minute walk away but cost €22 for 1.5 days.
