An ideal spot to stay in Messina, right near the main square, shops, restaurants, and cafés. Walking to the bus and train stations takes just 15 minutes. I knew there were 56 stairs to reach the place, but that didn’t bother me. The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. I was deeply touched when the host gave me a bouquet of roses on my birthday—it made the trip unforgettable. Coffee pods and water bottles were replaced daily, and towels and linens were refreshed regularly. It was a wonderful holiday and I would definitely recommend it. Breakfast at the nearby American bar was included and offered a typical Italian start with cornetto (croissant) and coffee. If you’re after a fried breakfast, you’ll have to go elsewhere, but we found it extremely good. The marmalade cornetto was especially nice! A great way to start the days, anytime between 6 am and 1 pm.

Couldn’t get better. Huge rooms, all with bathrooms on the second floor. The host was on time and incredibly friendly.
