Located near the pedestrian area, it's close to shops, restaurants, and within a 15-minute drive to Heidelberg, with free private parking available.

It’s a good stop halfway through a road trip, worth taking a walk through the village with its cozy terraces and good restaurants; breakfast is served at baker Grötz, just a few minutes’ walk away, offering a great selection of choices. Contrary to what the name Gästehaus Pfälzer Hof might suggest, this is a solid Greek restaurant with tasty dishes at a modest price. I missed a kettle so we couldn’t make something warm in the evening; that would have been nice because it was a bit chilly at night and the heating wasn’t effective at this time of year.
