Located in front of Maragogi's Peroba Beach, Pousada Encontro das Águas features a pool with sunloungers and seating area, surrounded by a well-maintained garden and lounge spaces. The hotel offers a gym, game-room, and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, minibar, TV, and private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony with hammocks and DVD player, and a buffet breakfast is served daily at the restaurant.

Everything was just fine—staff, options, and the restaurant quality were superb, and the breakfast was wonderful. The only slight annoyance was the two cats, probably adopted, that wandered around the tables outside the restaurant while we ate.

The exterior of the lodge looked good, but we had to ask for a room change because the original one had a horrible sewage odor. The accommodation was old and the bedding was heavily used. The beach meets the river, but the price for the stay was far above the facilities and location.

From the moment we arrived, the service was magnificent, starting with security guard Weliton who was friendly and made us feel at home even though we came in the middle of the night. Later we met the reception team, and Gleice helped us a lot with tours, even finding a small seat for my child, which made us feel at home. Then we met Robson and Henrique at the beach bar; they were very helpful and even provided low‑salt food for my child who was starting solids. Finally, a shout‑out to Larissa, the owner of the best tapioca, who greeted us with a huge smile every morning—staying with you was an incredible experience! The only thing I’d suggest is a cheaper hotel shuttle to Maragogi, or even to Peroba, as some guests arrive by transfer and the taxi cost is high for such a nearby spot.

The lodge is very charming and cozy, with excellent rooms, attention to detail, courteous staff, plenty of treats and programs, and a wonderful breakfast. We loved the stay and highly recommend it! The pizza from the hotel restaurant needs better quality, and the speed of service for restaurant orders could improve.
