We spent one night on the way to Sweden. The hotel is very clean, modernly furnished, and quiet. With a lot of luck we found a nearby parking spot. The proximity to the city center is a big plus. We’ll come back. A larger selection of private parking spaces would be desirable.

The location is perfect for train travelers, as the first thing that surprised me was how close it is to the station – ideal if you’re loaded with luggage and don’t want to walk many meters. The walk from the hotel to the iconic Holstentor gate takes just 10 minutes and is very pleasant. The rooms are spacious, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and you can fully control the temperature. Coupled with the beautiful city views, I loved the experience. The breakfast tables are a bit close together, but there’s a great terrace; I happened to have a rainy day, which might have made the breakfast a bit fuller.

The location is a dream – the hotel sits right next to the station but without annoying noise. There’s a public parking nearby (Parkplatz MuK – free from Saturday 18:00 to Monday 10:00) in case the hotel parking fills up. It’s close to the Holsztyński Gate and the Old Town. The rooms are clean and functional, and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is very good, but the only hot dish offered is boiled eggs.
