We really enjoyed it. Sleeping on a boat feels entirely different from a hotel. The operator is very friendly and helpful—highly recommended for anyone wanting a boat experience. Much of the old style remains authentic and historical on the 1904 vessel, making it a great adventure in the harbor. Just keep your head down; there isn’t much space above, and the room has a small hatch with a thick steel door that probably dates from the same era. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, including cutlery, plates, cups, and a cool coffee machine. I would rent the boat again for a stay in Hamburg and can recommend it.

Marcel is a very friendly and helpful owner, but the boat was unfortunately too cold for us—likely the wrong season.

I had a truly exceptional experience at this charming hotel, thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and I appreciated the genuine kindness they showed me during my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel's Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't detract from the overall warmth and comfort of the place. Overall, I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a cozy and authentic experience.
