I stayed at Marxal Resort & Spa while traveling in Azerbaijan and was very satisfied with the choice. The hotel sits in an incredibly beautiful and quiet spot among snowy mountains, waterfalls, and picturesque nature. From there it’s convenient to explore Sheki, the village of Kish, and other nearby areas. It’s the kind of place you want when you’re tired of city bustle, traffic, and truly need a mini‑vacation, a digital detox, pleasant leisure in the midst of amazing nature and mountains. It was especially nice to return here in the evening after long trips and a busy day. Comfortable rooms, a large well‑maintained area, pastoral views from the balcony overlooking green hills and nearby villages, silence, and the hotel’s atmosphere really encourage relaxation. The food at the restaurants for breakfast or in the room was very tasty; the hotel has its own clothing boutiques, lounge areas, a bar, a bookshop, a shop with Sheki halva, and a children’s playroom. The bowling complex and SPA complex were especially liked; after a whole day behind the wheel it was exactly what was needed. The staff left a pleasant impression, and the entire stay was calm and comfortable. Special thanks to manager Turalu for his attention and care during the stay. I would gladly choose Marxal again on my next trip and recommend it to everyone! The only downside was the lack of underground heated parking, but that’s not critical. I was completely satisfied with the stay.

One of the most beautiful stops on our trip to Azerbaijan. The hotel’s location in the mountains and nature gave the place exceptional beauty and tranquility, and the stay was luxurious and comfortable in every way. The staff were respectful and helpful, and we felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. I especially want to thank Mr Ibrahim for his warm reception and ongoing attention to us. His refined manner and concern for our comfort left a very good impression of the hotel and its people. An experience we will not forget, and Sheki has become a place I hope to visit again. 🌿🤍

The hotel offers its own activities—live music and other events you can enjoy such as bowling, karaoke, and more. The hotel is beautiful and the views are stunning. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony, with lovely scenery and so peaceful. The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and proactive.
