The service, the location, the view, and the animals were great. The room didn’t have the exterior windows I wanted.

The breakfast was delicious, varied, and high quality. The host treated us and my baby with absolute kindness. The place is simple, pretty, and completely surrounded by nature. The night sky is truly otherworldly.

The setting is stunning, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged. As soon as you arrive, proprietor Laurie of El Conventu makes you feel like you've stepped into a fairytale. There are fruit trees, roses, an outdoor kitchen, beautiful grounds, and a cute dog named Achi, a horse named Leo, plus cats and sheep you can visit during your stay. We slept so peacefully. Nearby, there are some great local bars called chigres, and the hospitality is incredible. This is the best stay I've ever had—romantic, restorative, and I could have stayed a month or more.

It’s gorgeous! The location is fantastic, no detail was missing, and the woman running it is super attentive and friendly; I would definitely return if I come back to the area. I loved it.
