Hôtel des 2 Garess

I spent one night there while passing through and was welcomed wonderfully; the place is great, the room is very good with a fan for summer, there are plenty of security cameras downstairs, a restaurant with very tasty food that I dined at and wasn’t expensive, and it’s right across from the station and close to the centre. Thank you.

“Suffisant pour une nuit”

I appreciated the flexibility with late check-in, which worked well for me, and I was impressed with the efforts to renovate the rooms and common areas, despite the building's age. However, I was put off by the persistent cat urine smell on the first floor, the slightly flimsy door lock, and the need to make sure I locked it properly.

The staff at this hotel were available and helpful, which was a plus. However, I found the hotel itself to be a bit worn out and in need of updating.

I only stopped by for breakfast, as I was in a hurry and had to leave early, but the location was convenient. Unfortunately, I found the mattress to be quite uncomfortable.

I was initially drawn to this hotel due to its fantastic location right next to the train station, which was perfect for our needs. However, our experience was marred by a few issues with the room, including a lack of cleanliness and a very worn-out bed. We also had to use a shared toilet and bathroom down the hall, which wasn't ideal. To make matters worse, the door handle broke one night, leaving us temporarily locked in the room, although we were able to fix it for the night.
