I love quiet little towns, and the remote spot worked fine for me—just remember you’ll have to walk 15 minutes to the train station if you’re not driving. Nobody else was there, so it felt like a private homestay. The only issue was the previous guests left the microwave dirty; it needed a proper cleaning. Aside from that, everything was great.

The room was huge, spotless, and the parking was convenient, plus the host was very kind. The breakfast was only packaged items, and the windows let in a lot of light, which woke me up at dawn because I’m a light sleeper; I’d suggest bringing a sleep mask.
