The night at the yakusi was great. The only issue was that there were large herbs in the garden.

The town where the accommodation sits is charming, the neighbourhood quiet and there’s parking nearby; the garden and jacuzzi (which we didn’t use) are nice, the owner communicated well and promptly replaced towels when we asked, something rarely done elsewhere, and every room has air‑conditioning. The cleaning left a lot to be desired – we found hair in several spots, an overwhelming musty smell from the place being closed, and we had to buy air fresheners and mothballs for the closets; the worst part was the many spiders throughout the rooms, which we had to remove ourselves. We didn’t mention it to the owner, but it was disappointing. The dining area is uncomfortable, with a high wall‑mounted table and square stools, plus only one sofa and an armchair, so there’s no real place to sit together before bed. The hallway lights work on motion sensors and illuminate the whole corridor when someone walks past at night, which seems inefficient. The owner often appeared in the garden to check the jacuzzi, which surprised us, especially since the garden showed signs of recent use – the gate open/closed and fences moved.

The house is very modern, everything is clean and new. Our short stay met all our expectations, though the table was almost giving way and we didn’t have enough utensils for what we needed, but overall we can’t complain.

The rooms were decent, nicely decorated and comfortable, though the twin‑bed room couldn’t be combined because a little table was fixed to the wall. The outdoor area is pleasant and sheltered, yet it could use a bit more investment. Even though there was a jacuzzi, we hardly used it because it was summer and the weather was hot. The bathroom cleaning fell short, especially around the shower, and the kitchen was merely adequate and poorly equipped. Sharing a kitchen meant for two rooms, how could six adults manage a meal with just a single frying pan? We also struggled with a general shortage of dishes throughout the house.

The floor plan is very spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the living‑dining area is well‑arranged. The pillows could be better, and I would swap some kitchen accessories because they weren’t suitable for induction.
