“Despite a few problems we had a great time.”
We returned for our anniversary and even got married here when it was still a Hyatt; the place could use a facelift, yet the staff were fantastic and made the stay worthwhile. The music by the pool was too loud for a beach resort, and the check‑in was unfair because we had to wait behind a slow group while others were served elsewhere. The room was dark and lacked lighting, and a noisy group above us added to the disturbance. Still, we love Saipan, feel sad about the many closed shops and restaurants, and hope the economy recovers; we’ll definitely come back.
