“ok accomodation, close to metro, nice deco details, family vibes”
We enjoyed the breakfast, the top terrace overlooking a green field, and the short walk—10 minutes—to the nearest metro station, plus two stations to the railway. The auntie who cooks breakfast is always smiling and cheerful, giving us that family vibe. The kids were smart and helpful too. As long‑term travelers who value privacy, we sometimes felt the family members were too curious, like sitting next to us at breakfast when we just wanted some alone time, but that’s just the Indian hospitality. For foreigners, expectations differ: we booked the top terrace room, but it was noisy from a nearby road and a temple that sang loudly one day. Neighbors were constantly drilling and building, so the noise persisted all day. Our train was delayed 12 hours to Jaipur, so we paid for the room but arrived the next day. The room felt cold for the first two days, and a small heater didn’t help much. We used their laundry service, which cost 600 rupees—too high. One vegetarian guest was charged for a meat meal. The guesthouse felt like a money‑making machine, rushing to offer taxis, trips, cooking classes, extra food, and laundry.
