I was thrilled by the experience: the price was great, the old‑style décor felt charming and relaxed, and the central location made everything convenient. Ms. Amal’s courteous and exceptional service made the stay even better, and there were no complaints at all.

The receptionist was helpful, but I didn’t read the description and assumed a private bathroom, and when I found out that wasn’t the case, I didn’t feel comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hostel is comfortable and located close to shops and restaurants. The room I chose was on the quieter side of the street, had large windows, a fan, and I slept well. There are two shared bathrooms and a separate toilet. The owner and staff are kind and welcoming; the owner called to check on me, and when I mentioned cold water in one bathroom, he promised a quick fix. The repeated calls were a bit much, but well‑intentioned. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. A few things to be aware of: no towel was provided in the room, which was fine because I had my own, and the listed price does not include taxes, so check the final amount.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and Mohamed took great care of us. Although recently repainted, the hotel is clean until you enter the room. The whole place feels old, the air‑conditioning is antique, and there is an old shower cabin in a corner of the room that occasionally releases a faint stench. The mattresses and furniture, in general, have had better days. The building itself, including the elevator, is dirty and dilapidated.
