We really liked the hotel because of its fascinating history, architecture, carefully chosen furnishings, and the historic maps and paintings. The hand‑painted wooden ceiling on the upper floor is especially remarkable. The walk to the Müritz towards the dock and campground can be quite long on foot, but cycling is fine thanks to excellent bike paths. The estate feels like the end of the world, which works well for the offered yoga classes and stress relief. The price is high, but the immediate surroundings justify it. To see a bit more, we drove to Röbel (Müritz).

The location is wonderfully quiet. The beds are excellent, and the kitchen is very good.
