Pension Lotti Friedrichshain

“Okay aber nicht überragend.”

The location is great and the communication with the pension was pleasantly quick, but the room wasn’t very clean—dust on the bed’s shelf and spider webs in the bathroom. It’s very noisy, so you hear other guests’ activities loudly, and the blinds on the ground‑floor courtyard window aren’t fully opaque, which feels a bit uncomfortable in the evenings.

“mehr als BESCHEIDEN.”

The best thing about the place was its proximity to Warschauerstrasse, yet it already smelled strongly of cannabis when I arrived. That first night I was woken up by heavy knocking on the front door and shouting, and the tiny room barely let in natural light. I had to keep the lights on and close the window because the trash bins in the back courtyard stank. The sofa bed was so worn that I had back pain after the first night; it really needed replacing. The TV only offered four channels, none of which carried the national match. The wardrobe could use a dusting, which would be a relief for anyone carrying a suitcase. I left the next day. Not recommended for a longer stay.

Very clean, the host is great, and the location is good: just a 10‑minute walk to the metro station and close to the central station.

Great spot, close to the metro and S-Bahn on Warschauer Str.; the street is quiet and the cleanliness is pretty good. The owner is quick to communicate. For short stays or if you’re out a lot, the room is small and I slept on a very comfortable sofa bed.

“Emplacement fabuleux”

The location is amazing, the accommodation is spacious, the private bathroom, fridge, kettle! We had an exceptional stay and will return as soon as possible. The only downside is that our apartment faced a busy street; it wasn’t a problem for us, but if you’re looking to rest, it can be a bit noisy.
