“Tranquilo”
The breakfast was great, nothing else to add.
“Dreckig und runtergekommen”
Our bed was full of hair and living critters. We got a new room. Hair was still there, luckily no critters. We had actually booked a balcony. Both rooms were useless.
“Prijs kwaliteit wel ok maar verwacht niet te veel”
The bed was good and the location was great. Hygiene and breakfast could have been better.
“Niet mijn fijnste verblijf, maar voor 1 nacht wel oke”
We stayed for a night with our family of two kids and it was doable; the hotel was easy to reach from the airport and we had a late arrival so we didn't want to drive too far. The beds slept well for a night. Everything in the room was outdated and really needed maintenance; the furniture was almost falling apart. The fridge didn't work. The shower head in the bathroom was clogged and the tap didn't work properly. The bedspread was still wet, which was a real disappointment. I had to go back to the lobby at night to ask if the bedspread could be replaced on two beds and I had to do that myself. Very unfortunate. The staff on arrival day were arrogant and unfriendly. I felt like they had no desire to work or were tired. I don't know why, but I didn't find it professional or customer‑friendly. The explanation of how parking works was unclear; it should be better explained, especially if you want to leave.
“Worst Experience”
We booked a double bed deluxe room with balcony and AC and everything, and our timing was already confirmed with White Crown Hotel. We arrived around 1 am. When we got there they told us the AC wasn't working and they would move us to another hotel. We were still okay to stay without AC but they refused and said it wasn't available. The new hotel – The Star Hotel – had no basic necessities, no balcony, no shower gel/shampoo and rooms were a lot smaller. No housekeeping, they didn't change the bed linen. It was absolutely disgraceful. We didn't expect this at all and were left feeling uncomfortable in a new country. The staff was unhelpful, especially the receptionist at White Crown Hotel who was really rude when she asked us to move to a new hotel and expected us to pay for the transport. Because of this inconvenience we expected the hotel to give us some compensation or discount but there was nothing at all. Absolutely disgusting. Do not book these hotels!
