Lodge El Amargal - Reserva Natural, Ecoturismo & Surf

This place is incredible - it's so secluded and authentic. The food was great, and the rooms were clean, with enough towels considering the humidity. You can even see whales passing by from your room. I didn't have any issues at all - it was a perfect stay.

El Amargal is a real gem, surrounded by wilderness and the Pacific Ocean. Our hosts, Nicole and Yaz, were super kind and respectful. We loved it here and would definitely come back - it's a great place to unwind and enjoy nature.

“Lo mejor de Nuqui! Muy recomendado”

I stopped by for a day on my way out of Nuqui and totally wish I'd been able to stay here from the start. The hotel's location is perfect, with a stunning view of the sea and a room that's simple but just right for feeling like you're in nature. Being on the beach felt like I was in a movie, surrounded by untouched wilderness. The owners are super warm and welcoming, and the service was great - they took care of all the details for my stay and transportation.

We visited during whale watching season and loved the professional narration during the tour. The hotel staff were really attentive, especially with meal options that suited our needs. The scenery and natural surroundings were gorgeous, and the owners' story about conserving the ecosystem was fascinating. However, our cabin was lovely but could use some improvements for comfort and privacy.
