The pub was attractive, and the bedrooms were in a quiet barn building next to the pub, with nice décor, a lovely Superking bed, decent shower, and heating in the bedroom. The superior and family rooms offered ample space upstairs and included sofa beds. The dining room in the cozy pub served excellent food and the staff were friendly. However, the bed lacked a top sheet because the duvet and cover only reached the edge of the Superking bed, leaving our bodies uncovered; I usually bring a Superking sheet for such situations. The bathroom could use an extra shelf for toiletries, and the dining room’s spotlights could be replaced with warmer bulbs on dimmer switches to reduce the harsh lighting.
