Four rooms with eight beds are linked by a pre‑garden that has a large table, kitchen, etc. A big green lawn with a view of the Schaffen makes it worth staying at least two nights. The place itself is very pleasant – much, much nicer than Viseu de Sus! No Wi‑Fi is available, but that’s mentioned in the description.

The air is clean. The bed squeaks horribly, the parquet floor creaks badly, the door couldn’t lock from the inside, so I slept with the door open, and there was not even a drop of liquid soap for hand washing.

If you want extra attractions and an unplanned night in the car, book Pensiunea Lucica. The address shown on the property’s listing points to the whole town, while the pin on Google Maps and the pin on the booking site are in two different spots. Check‑in is until 21:00. I booked around 19:50, arrived at 20:55 at the booking pin location, and there was no one. No one answered the phone, neither me nor the booking consultant. Around 22:00 the owner called back and told me to find accommodation elsewhere, then changed his mind and gave me his address. I could not find the address on Google Maps or in the field. At about 23:00 I called the owner again, someone else answered and said she didn’t have time for me, told me to call another time, and hung up. The booking consultant found another place after midnight; I was exhausted and slept in the car.
