We felt right at home with our grandchild, enjoying the pure nature and the time spent with the animals.

This place is a dream for unwinding and relaxing; nature and animals lovers will find it ideal. The honking geese, the whinnying pony, the horses and donkeys, the goats, the house pig, the alpacas, the chickens, and the two mini cows Magda and Frieda ♥ warm the heart. My two dogs were very welcome and got along great with the three farm dogs. Our holiday home had its own fenced, almost invisible terrace, cozily furnished, and from there you could easily watch the sometimes roaming animals on the farm… simply wonderful! Ute, the owner of funnyFarm, is super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which I truly appreciate. She is a great person who gets to live her dream, and we’ll definitely return.

Every morning the kids could help the farmer care for the animals, and during the day they could always stay inside (with an adult) to pet or brush them. They also loved running on the slope in the garden or playing with the dogs. Our cabin was snug and cozy; all basics were covered and we even had a whirlpool bath to relax luxuriously in the evening. We also made a campfire, rode a pony and donkey, and drove a quad through the woods. A little further is a Center Parcs where the kids can swim or play in the indoor playground. We stopped there briefly to eat, but the kids preferred the smaller Funny Farm with their own animals! The host, Ute, is a very friendly woman who offers explanations and advice.

The host is very tidy; anyone who loves animals will find the Funny Farm perfect. Ute, the owner, is a wonderful woman and I wish her all the best until the summer, when we’ll gladly visit again.
