Getting here from the interstate was a breeze. After a long day, we finally checked in and found the TV in our room was broken. I called the front desk and the lady handed us new remotes, but the TV still wouldn't turn on. I asked if a maintenance person could come, and she said she was the only worker on the property and couldn't leave the desk. That felt like a serious safety concern, though I doubted it was true, and she wouldn't help further. A broken TV isn't a huge deal, but we were exhausted and asked for a price courtesy, which she refused. We ended up paying an extra 100.00 for this room compared to a week earlier on our trip. For 253.00, a room without a working TV, no discount, no empathy, and no willingness to resolve the issue, I'll definitely book elsewhere next time.
