“Perfect location with great facilities in this interesting West coast town”

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and we had access to a lovely lounge/dining area that offered views of the snow‑capped mountains. Breakfast was fabulous. Nothing else to note.

“Peaceful and private charming B&B”

We were thrilled with our stay at Woodland Glen Lodge B&B – it was peaceful, quiet, and close enough to Hokitika and other amazing West Coast spots. The lodge itself is full of character, with beautiful, comfortable décor that feels cosy and warm. Our bedroom was huge and we didn’t even notice anyone else at the lodge; it felt completely private and quiet. Anne and Fraser were the most accommodating and loveliest hosts, having thought of everything you’d need. The room featured lovely seating, a huge bathroom, a great shower, and a comfy bed, and even the eco‑friendly toiletries were a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was absolutely 5‑star, a chef’s kiss, with eggs from Anne and Fraser’s own chickens. We enjoyed the Hokitika region, with Hokitika Gorge being a highlight and a sunset at Hokitika beach. I would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay again.

Everything was great! The room was huge, with a living area, bathroom, and walk‑in closet, all with impeccable British taste. Ann and her husband were very kind and attentive, and the breakfast was magnificent!

The breakfast was amazing, with a large number of options that were absolutely delicious. The hosts were very friendly yet respectful of space. I can’t think of anything negative, though there was less rain than expected, which I suspect was beyond their control.

“A cosy, comfortable stay in the NZ winter”

A fabulous B&B just outside Hokitika, the perfect stop on our travels in NZ. Anne and Fraser were very warm and welcoming, and they cooked us a delicious breakfast using local ingredients.
