“Great quiet stay close to downtown.”
Checking in with the owner was great, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast was good. The accommodations were fun in a beautifully restored property, located in a quiet neighborhood about a 15‑minute walk to downtown. We’ve traveled a lot, and I can honestly say this might be the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at. All was good.
The room and breakfast were good; nothing else.
Lovely building and interior in traditional style. Great breakfast and attentive staff. Comfortable bed and lovely clean bathroom. 20min walk from York centre
“A perfectly ok place to stay but ask for a big light room.”
Very clean, good breakfast, nice shower room. Our room was rather small and dark, a bit too small for a four‑poster bed. Unfortunately our car was parked under a tree in the car park and was covered in bird poo.
