I recommend it. The isolation is a bit of a drawback.

The bedding was super comfy, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was a buffet. The only issue was the creaking of the doors.

Close to the center, a large parking lot in front of the hotel, and near shopping centers. Good breakfast. Nice view from the window of the old town. There’s a bit of street noise, but it’s manageable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for a trip to Montluçon’s old town; it was only a 10‑minute walk to the cathedral and historic buildings (even if they were a bit run‑down). The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The downside was that no restaurants were open on Monday except fast‑food chains. The air‑conditioning didn’t work properly and there were no instructions.
