The spot was great, with a lovely view and friendly people. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly, and I slept well. I definitely recommend it. Everything was to my liking.

The owners were fantastic and everything was clean.

The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room rate even included a guided tour of the nearby distillery with a tasting, and they let us stay past the usual 10 am checkout. The only downside was the lingering smell of the distillery that seeped into the inn – it added character for us, but could be off‑putting for some guests.

We liked being able to come and go at any hour, and the free parking was a nice perk. Unfortunately the bathroom was missing basic toiletries like shampoo, and on Friday a strong alcohol odor drifted in from the distillery, making the rooms smell quite unpleasant.

The staff were genuinely warm and always ready to lend a hand or give advice – many thanks to them. The hotel sits right next to the train station, so with the windows open in summer you can hear the trains passing, which we expected and planned for.
