The hotel was just a few minutes’ walk from the conference venue, and there were plenty of konbini nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the place was very quiet. It might help to have the checkout time extended by an hour, and a map of nearby restaurants, attractions, bus stops, and subway stations would be useful.
