The location was great, parking was plentiful, the food was fantastic, and all staff were friendly and polite, which is very important to me; the rooms were small, advertised as sea‑view but the car park doesn’t actually face the sea, and technically you could see the sea if you were right up against the glass. We didn’t complain because it was the last room and we wouldn’t have been moved.

The room was comfortable, warm, and had a great view, though some staff seemed a little standoffish and didn’t offer to help with bags even though there were three flights of stairs.

The staff spoke Welsh, which made getting around a lot easier, but the beer was a bit pricey.

We stayed in a Bull Bay‑facing room on the top floor and the views were wonderful; the food was great (booking at night is wise since it’s popular), and the spot was perfect for the coastal path. Wifi worked fine downstairs but struggled upstairs, though we were on holiday so it didn’t bother us.
