I loved the rustic charm, visiting the animals and walking around the roads, especially watching the chickens while on the porch drinking morning coffee; the breakfast was delicious, with freshly made baked buns and croissants, cheeses, juice, homemade berry jam, fresh butter, and fresh milk, but I couldn't find the coffee machine, so I brought instant coffee and the hot coffee supplied the second morning was really good.

The rustic cabin was everything I hoped for—cozy, charming, and blissfully free from the constant buzz of technology; instead of scrolling, we spent our time sitting in the quiet forest, actually talking to each other, laughing until our cheeks hurt, and soaking in the kind of peace you forget exists; one of my favorite memories was sitting on the covered porch as the moon climbed over the trees, with no traffic, no notifications, no rush—just a spectacular view, fresh air, and hours of swapping stories with friends; it felt like the world had hit the pause button; then came breakfast, and wow, it instantly took me back to my backpacking days through Europe, with freshly cooked eggs, warm buttery croissants, a beautiful cheese plate, fresh jam, orange juice, and fresh milk—all thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious; it wasn't just breakfast; it was part of the experience; Maple Heart Ranch isn't about luxury in the flashy sense—it's about the luxury of slowing down, hearing birds instead of ringtones, watching the moon instead of Netflix, and reconnecting with nature, your people, and maybe even yourself; I'll absolutely be back, and next time I think it'll be a solo trip—a little reset button for the soul; the only complaint was that the rooster apparently didn't get the memo that we were on vacation, but the early morning wake-up call was clearly mentioned before we arrived, so we can't pretend we weren't warned, and it honestly just added to the authentic ranch experience and gave us a laugh.

The spot was gorgeous, the owners were sweet, and the vibe was so laid‑back that we loved hanging out with the animals. Every window offered calm, beautiful views, and the cabin’s layout felt very pleasant. The kitchen was a joy to stand in and cook with. After the kids slept, my partner and I were thrilled to sit on the front porch, watching the nightscape over the farm. The shower was confusing to use; it wasn’t a proper shower but a garden hand sprayer attached to a hose, lacking a hands‑free attachment, and the bathtub looked either rusty or dirty—so we didn’t bathe there, which was a small let‑down since I had expected a shower. There was no door in the washroom, which was a bit embarrassing at times. The stairs to the loft were somewhat rickety, and the rope tied to wood posts seemed risky if someone slipped. The windows had no screens, so I shut them all at night to keep bugs out, but that left the cabin poorly ventilated. Thankfully the night wasn’t too hot, and we were comfortable with the windows closed.

Our stay was marked by exceptional hospitality, with the host going above and beyond to provide for our needs, including a delicious dinner. However, the property's decor, while intended to be humorous, may not sit well with all guests, particularly those from the United States.
