The location was great, everything felt homely, the room was spacious and bright, the bathroom was clean, the bed was large with an orthopedic mattress and good pillows, and the linens were all fresh and spotless. The hotel was very clean, family‑run, and Ali greeted and escorted us. The young man was very friendly and polite. I extended the stay into the evening without extra charge because our train to Samarkand was that night. Breakfast was not included in the price at the time of booking, as the chefs explained. There is no courtyard or balcony, so it was a bit inconvenient to step outside for a smoke each time. Overall, everything was excellent, with no hidden fees and the cost matched the website.

“Piccolo hotel vicino al centro”

The hotel is extremely close to Lyabi Hauz, right in the city center with shops and restaurants, though the neighborhood itself is somewhat rough in the old town. The setting is still very quiet and convenient. The room was very spacious, and although some items listed in the description were missing (phone and kettle in particular), the staff promptly supplied them upon request. The managers are rarely present but reply quickly to messages. The cleanliness could be better—the shower curtain had the typical red mold staining at the bottom, which could be washed with bleach at each turnover, and the room carpets were not well cleaned, as walking barefoot left hair, dust, and pet fur on the socks. The beds were too firm for my taste.

The location is excellent, right in the center on a quiet street next to a bakery. The staff were wonderful and ready to help. They tried to check us in as early as possible (we arrived before dawn) and allowed us to leave a bit later than the standard checkout. The atmosphere feels almost home‑like—shoes are taken off at the entrance, and with only about four rooms in total, you essentially stay among other guests. The kitchen, fridge, tableware, kettle, iron, etc., are available 24/7, and there’s a large dining area. The rooms themselves are a decent size—neither too big nor too small, and clean. Inside the hotel is quiet, with no external noise. During the stay, small issues arose occasionally, but the owners resolved them quickly and helped with everything. One of the two rooms we booked was very dark and poorly ventilated because of a tiny window facing other roofs, so keep that in mind when booking.

Everything was clean, tidy, with fresh linens and odorless air conditioning units. The staff were responsive. The location is very convenient—taxis drop off right at the door, and the historic Lyabi Hauz center is just around the corner, making it a pleasant base for excursions, with plenty of cafés and restaurants at night. The family was satisfied, and everything was perfect.

The location was good, one of the two rooms was spacious, the staff were friendly, water was available upon arrival and warm, the air conditioning was fine, and the place was clean. I didn’t like the breakfast at all—too many industrial pastries compared to other hotels that offer Uzbek breakfast, and there were no scrambled eggs, no coffee or tea, just juice and water.
