Manoir de Moëllien, The Originals Relais, lies 4 km inland in Finistère’s countryside, offering 17th‑century charm with private‑bathroom rooms, terraces and free Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy refined seasonal cuisine in the manor restaurant, in‑room breakfast, a bar with complimentary newspaper, and a library. Nearby attractions include Locronan (2 km), Douarnenez thalassotherapy (12 km) and Quimper’s cathedral (20 km).

It’s located in a historic building with facilities, surrounded by green meadows and little woods.

The view was lovely, the setting charming, and the dinner was excellent—fine dining, maybe without all the frills, but still very good. The staff were charming. The old manor and its surrounding buildings were very impressive. It’s a great shame that the manor has deteriorated since our last stay, which was several years ago. The room was fine, but a little lacking in little touches like a bottle of water, for example. We understand the challenge of the cost of operating such a beautiful old manor and its fabulous grounds and wish it well, as the setting is wonderful.

The welcome and meals were excellent.

The house has a great vibe, very quiet. The lobby is pretty. Free parking is available. It’s only about 10 minutes by car to the beach. The breakfast room is quite dark, with loud kitchen noises. Dinner is quite expensive and portions are very small. There are no restaurants nearby.
