The accommodation, a touch of traditional Batak house, is very close to nature, not pretentious, simple, clean, with enough access for fresh air and plenty of light.

The location is reached by boat from Mutiara Hotel in Balige, but the Google map directions don’t point that way. We asked locals and the hotel staff were quick and friendly, helping us get to the correct spot. Thank you.

The place is very nice, aesthetic, clean, and perfect for relaxing; most importantly, the staff are excellent, friendly and responsive to customer requests, making it very comfortable to stay here. I definitely recommend it and plan to go again next time. No negatives.

The spot is gorgeous, with a view over a calm corner of Lake Toba, though it’s a long walk from other amenities. The bathroom quality feels underwhelming for what you pay.
