I recently stayed at a hotel that had a great quiet location, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall pleasant experience. However, the rooms were in need of some improvement, and I was disappointed to find that they lacked UK and US plug sockets, as well as USB charging points. To top it all off, there was a lot of renovation work going on, which was quite distracting.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was marred by a construction project that was taking place, which meant that the view from my room was not great. Additionally, the washrooms were not up to par, which was a bit of a letdown. To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the hotel was not what I would expect from a 5-star property, and the limited food options were a bit of a disappointment. Overall, the construction work really detracted from the experience.

My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the property was well spread out, which made it easy to navigate. However, the construction work that was taking place was a major distraction, and I was surprised to find that there were no barricades in place to block off the affected areas. The upkeep of the property was also lacking, and I was disappointed to find that the rooms were well furnished but not well maintained.
