Hotel Roemer Amsterdam is a boutique hotel situated in two historic 18th-century mansions in a quiet Amsterdam street, 400 metres from Leidseplein. The hotel features a private garden, Nespresso coffee machines, and flat-screen TVs in its elegant air-conditioned rooms. Vondelpark is 200 metres away, and tram stop Stadhouderskade offers easy access to Amsterdam Central Station and nearby attractions like the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.

The staff were friendly and they welcomed me with a handwritten card. The air conditioning worked only moderately and the room wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped. 8.0/10

Everything was close by, the staff were very pleasant, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with beautiful sheets. The décor was very poor, there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, and every room should have a fridge to truly qualify as a four‑star property. 8.0/10
