I wasn’t sure whether the place was closed, but a staff member at the nearby service station—about fifty metres away—confirmed it was shut. The hotel sent me a single message in Ukrainian with a phone number, which isn’t very helpful for a foreign traveler passing through.

This place used to be decent, but now it’s fallen into a sort of decline. Rooms smell old, and it feels like hardly anyone stays there. If you just need a single night, it will do; for anything more substantial, it falls short. The location is handy, right next to the road, and there’s a car park.

Parking is included in the price, and you can stay for one night if you have no other options. The room has hot water, a shower, a fridge, air‑conditioning, and a TV—all working. The bedding isn’t fresh, giving a sense of unwashed sheets. Inside the fridge, I found a large dried insect. The toilet has a hairball—so embarrassing. Overall, the cleanliness really needs improvement.

The on‑duty female administrator is quick and always reachable, helping with any needs promptly. For an extra fee you can rent a gazebo with a grill on the hotel grounds. The hotel sits in the middle of the highway, far from any amenities. The stairs to the rooms are a very inconvenient, spiral, dirty climb. The air‑conditioner in the room hasn’t been cleaned in ages, leaving an unpleasant odor. The shower contains hair from previous guests, and the table has dirty glasses stuck in spider webs, with plenty of flies. Beneath the balcony, chickens and quails roam, giving off a fitting smell.
