“Perfect place to start your Alta Via 2 trek”

I stayed here in Bressanone the night before hiking the Alta Via 2, and the room was sleek and spotless. The hotel sits in a prime spot, just a 15‑minute walk to the train station, a 5‑minute stroll to the old center, and a 10‑minute walk to the bus stop for route #321 that drops you at the Plose Cable car if you want to start your trek from the top of Mt Plose. The staff went above and beyond: they helped me ship a suitcase from Bressanone to Feltre, handled the handoff to the shipping company on my departure day, printed labels, and gave me supplies to secure the bag for pickup.

“An excellent and very quiet location in the historic centre of Brixen. I would stay there again.”

The breakfast menu was pretty repetitive, almost the same each day, but at least the chair in my room was a comfy one instead of just a hard one.

The receptionist was friendly and polite, and the room stayed very tidy. I was in the city for two days, but the hostel was only available for one, so I had to switch accommodations.

The location was great for both peace and proximity to the center, and the cleanliness was meticulous. Some of the staff, however, were not very helpful.
