Nothing about this property matched the description. There was no room service and no restaurant on site, which were the main reasons I booked this hotel. The room was supposed to have a double bed and a twin, but we got a very small room with a king‑size bed and two twins—more like a hostel than a hotel. The room felt unsafe because the doorframe had been kicked in and the door didn’t lock properly from either side. The hotel is in a residential area where people were out drinking and partying on the streets, making us feel very unsafe. The front desk lady didn’t know anything about our reservation and had to call the manager after I showed her the email confirmation. Both front desk staff were extremely rude, laughing at me for being upset. I had sent a request hours before arrival to let them know I’d just been released from the hospital and was booking because my son was helping care for me. We booked the room because it said it had room service. Not only was there no room service, but there was no restaurant, not even a vending machine for snacks or drinks. I’ve never felt so dismissed and discriminated against; as a former flight attendant who’s stayed worldwide, this hotel seemed uncaring even about our desire to leave. They were happy to refund us, then sent a message saying we never checked in. We did check in, but we left because the room and overall situation felt rude, discriminatory, and unsafe.
