The reception and the enthusiastic owner had a lot of art hanging in the hotel and a lively terrace where you could eat and order breakfast for a small extra fee. The service was great. The surroundings are very quiet and the WIFI is excellent. The beds are decent but could be a bit better. Luckily we had ventilation through balcony doors, but a fan would also be nice in the room. It heats up quickly in the Netherlands.

“Country B&B with comfy bed an homey feel”

I stayed in what felt more like a cozy B&B than a hotel, and I liked it. The room had an ensuite, a very comfortable bed, and simple, charming furnishings. Art in the hallways gave the place a personal touch. The kitchen was small but functional, with everything I needed for breakfast, and there was a shelf in the common fridge. I noticed a large sunroom at the back, but I didn’t see it because I was there in winter; it must be lovely in spring. Host Sven‑Erik was welcoming and very social, and the service was good—he even gave me an extra heater for my room during the cold winter. I’ll probably book again. The only downside was a few spider webs in the corners, which is normal for older buildings and didn’t bother me, but I mention it for future guests.

Comfortable beds, friendly owner, and a nice view. On the way back we had to set up the bed for our daughter ourselves, and the bathrooms in our rooms were very small.
