The room was comfortable with good air‑conditioning (it was very hot!), and I never met any staff because check‑in was via codes; a nice coffee shop was right next door, but the top‑floor room had no windows—just skylights—which felt a little claustrophobic but didn't really ruin the stay.

We celebrated our anniversary with a one‑night stay and the reservation team handed us the best room, complete with a free‑standing bathtub that was absolutely stunning—definitely a must‑have. The TV, however, didn’t support Netflix or YouTube, and the parking gates felt a bit tight for larger vehicles. Worse still, a neighbour was smoking marijuana, the smell drifted into our room, and it ruined our sleep, forcing us to leave early. We reached out to the reservation team the next day, but they offered no solution or action after investigating.

I liked the location and area. The final room we ended up with was not bad, but for a while it didnt look like we were going to get any alternative room after rejecting the room selected for us. The top floor room was like an oven on arrival, and we couldnt open any windows. Even the bathroom which had 3 non-opening windows. We telephoned the manager who informed us that the windows opened, but you will see from the photos they have been shut for years and are filthy. How you ever air a room after guests have stayed I just have no idea. It was obvious that the manager had never visited the hotel, but was telling me all about it whilst I was there! I could hear a man in the background saying ''put the phone down'. After persuasion we were offered another room on the first floor and were promised the windows open. We couldnt see it first and were told 4 times that it would cost more. This seemed to be the main consideration. I agreed and we moved down a floor. The room was acceptable but the opening window was blocked by a huge bath, so extremely awkward to open it the permitted 6 inches! . Very surprised to see another £30.00 taken from my card

Everything was great except the bathroom, which left me disappointed. I wasn’t thrilled with the disabled setup and expected a more modern feel, but the bedroom itself was beautiful.

The location was good, the room was clean and tidy, but the people in room 27 opposite ours had their TV volume turned up too loud, and the noise started again around 6:30 am on Saturday morning.
