The staff were helpful, but the facilities felt very old‑school: the bathroom floor was slate, the shower and toilet had leaks, the toilet seat was broken, and the sheets had a “stored” smell. The fan burned out at night, leaving a strong burnt odor in the room. There was no intercom in the room, the lighting was weak, the sockets were 1970s style (two holes), and breakfast was overly simple.

The place looks nice and the pool water is crystal clear. However, despite being told at reception that I was staying in an economy room, as if it were the worst of the rooms, I have to point out that the bathroom is tiny, the TV is a tube model (even in the 21st century), the internet was almost nonexistent—one had to walk around the lodge to find signal, and it didn’t work in the room.
